Privacy notice

This notice describes what this site actually collects, which is very little. It was written by checking the site rather than by adapting a template.

What the site collects

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies for this and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. What it records is aggregate: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of browser.

There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no session recording and no third-party analytics beyond the above.

What the site does not collect

• No account, because there is nothing to sign into.
• No email address. Nothing on this site asks for one.
• No contact forms, so nothing you type into a calculator is transmitted anywhere. The calculators run entirely in your browser.
• No newsletter and no mailing list.

If you buy a guide

Payment is handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle collects what it needs to take the payment and meet its tax obligations, including your email address and country. That data goes to Paddle, not to me. I see order records and aggregate totals. Paddle's privacy notice governs what they hold.

The download itself works from a signed key rather than an account, so no personal data is needed to deliver the file or to download it again later.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests in order to serve pages and keeps standard server logs for security and abuse prevention.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Because this site holds almost nothing, most requests will be short. For purchase data, Paddle is the controller and requests are best directed to them, though you can write to me and I will help.
